Terms of Service
The terms of use of the EazyPazz platform.
Effective from 1 April 2026
Version: 2026-04-01
1. Definitions
• "Platform" or "EazyPazz": the online service available via eazypazz.com and its subdomains
• "Organizer": the natural or legal person using the platform to organize events and sell tickets
• "Buyer" or "Visitor": the natural person purchasing a ticket or registering for an event
• "Services": ticket sales, scanning/check-in, cashless payments, and all other functionalities offered by EazyPazz
• "Commission": the fee EazyPazz receives per sold ticket, as described in article 5
2. Scope
These Terms of Service govern the use of the EazyPazz platform by organizers and visitors. By using the platform, you fully accept these terms. If you do not accept these terms, you must not use the platform.
3. Account and Registration
To use the platform as an organizer, you must create an account via the registration process. In doing so:
• You provide accurate and complete information
• You are at least 16 years old
• You are authorized to act on behalf of the stated organization
• You keep your login credentials confidential
• You immediately report any unauthorized use
EazyPazz reserves the right to suspend or delete accounts in case of abuse.
4. Organizer Responsibilities
As an organizer, you are responsible for:
• The accuracy and completeness of event information
• Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations (permits, Sabam, fire safety, etc.)
• The content you publish on the platform
• Timely delivery of the promised services to buyers
• Respecting the consumer rights of buyers
• Having the necessary permits and insurance for your event
• Keeping your payment obligations (payouts, VAT, etc.)
5. Commission and Payments
5.1 Platform Commission
EazyPazz charges a commission per sold ticket according to the rate on the pricing page. The standard rate is a flat €0.49 per sold ticket, regardless of the ticket price. Free events are exempt from commission.
5.2 Payment Processing
Payments are processed via Stripe Connect and/or Mollie Connect. The organizer authorizes EazyPazz to collect payments on their behalf through these providers. Stripe’s or Mollie’s transaction costs are not included in the platform commission: they are charged by the payment provider and borne by the organizer.
5.3 Payout
After deduction of the platform commission, the net proceeds are paid out to the organizer via the linked Stripe or Mollie account. Payouts are made according to the payment provider’s schedule.
5.4 Price Display
The ticket price may include the platform commission (depending on the organizer’s settings). The commission is transparently displayed during checkout.
6. Purchase and Consumer Rights
6.1 By purchasing a ticket, the buyer enters into a contract with the organizer (not with EazyPazz).
6.2 Right of Withdrawal: In accordance with Article VI.53, 12° of the Belgian Code of Economic Law (WER), the right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts concerning leisure services, including events. This means that purchased tickets cannot be returned on the basis of the right of withdrawal.
6.3 Return and Refund Policy: The organizer determines the return and refund policy. In case of event cancellation by the organizer, the buyer is entitled to a refund.
6.4 EazyPazz acts as an intermediary and is not responsible for the organizer’s execution of the event.
7. Cashless System
7.1 The cashless system allows visitors to load balances on wristbands and pay at sales points.
7.2 Top-ups: Visitors can top up balances via the scan PWA, at sales points, or online (if enabled by the organizer).
7.3 Refund: After the event, visitors can claim their remaining balance until the deadline set by the organizer. Unclaimed balance is processed according to the organizer’s set policy (donation to charity or manual review).
7.4 Wristbands are non-transferable. Loss or theft must be reported immediately to the organizer.
7.5 EazyPazz is not liable for technical failures in the cashless system beyond its control.
8. Scan and Check-in
8.1 The scanning functionality allows organizers to validate tickets and register visitors using QR codes.
8.2 The scanner PWA works both online and offline (with synchronization upon connection recovery).
8.3 EazyPazz provides the technical functionality but is not responsible for the organizer’s actual check-in policy.
9. Intellectual Property
9.1 The platform, software, design, logos and brand names of EazyPazz are the property of Ignace Mella and protected by intellectual property rights.
9.2 The organizer retains intellectual property rights on the content they publish on the platform (event information, images, etc.).
9.3 By publishing content on the platform, the organizer grants EazyPazz a non-exclusive license to use this content for delivering the services.
10. Liability
10.1 EazyPazz provides the platform "as is" and makes no representations about its uninterrupted or error-free operation.
10.2 EazyPazz is only liable for direct damage resulting from a proven failure in the execution of this agreement, with a maximum equal to the amount of commission EazyPazz received from the relevant organizer in the preceding 12 months.
10.3 EazyPazz is not liable for:
• The content, accuracy or completeness of events
• The (timely) execution of events by the organizer
• Indirect damage, consequential damage or lost profits
• Third-party failures (payment providers, hosting, etc.)
• Force majeure
11. Termination
11.1 Both parties may terminate the agreement subject to reasonable notice.
11.2 EazyPazz may immediately suspend an account in case of serious breach of these terms.
11.3 After termination, the organizer is entitled to payout of outstanding balances (minus commission and any claims).
11.4 EazyPazz retains the right to keep data that is legally required.
12. Dispute Resolution
12.1 These terms are governed by Belgian law.
12.2 In case of a dispute, an attempt will first be made to reach an amicable settlement.
12.3 If an amicable settlement is not possible, the courts of Brussels are competent.
12.4 Consumers may also file a complaint via the European Online Dispute Resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/odr).
13. Changes
EazyPazz may change these terms with reasonable notice. The most recent version is always available at eazypazz.com/terms. Material changes will be communicated by email. Continued use of the platform after a change constitutes acceptance.
14. Miscellaneous
14.1 If a provision of these terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in force.
14.2 The non-exercise of a right does not constitute a waiver of that right.
14.3 These terms are drafted in Dutch, French and English. In case of contradiction, the Dutch version prevails.
