Tariffs read from each provider’s own pricing page on 2026-07-31; prices may have changed since. All amounts are excl. VAT. Our fee excludes the transaction cost of your own Stripe or Mollie account; some providers bundle that cost into theirs. Compare the all-in cost, not just the headline figure.

How we compare

Where the figures come from

Every rate quoted on these pages is read off the public pricing page of the platform in question, with the date we read it. That date is not decoration: rates change, and a comparison without one cannot be checked. If a figure on our side is not on their own page, that is a mistake we want to hear about.

Everything excluding VAT, and per ticket sold

All three compared platforms publish their rates excluding VAT, so we compare excluding VAT — our own amount included. We count per ticket sold, because that is the unit an organiser thinks in. One difference shows up immediately: we apply no percentage of the ticket price, whereas a percentage keeps growing as your tickets get dearer.

Per order or per ticket: why that counts

Payment costs are the part most often compared wrongly. Stripe and Mollie charge per order, and we pass those costs through unchanged. Platforms that charge the payment cost per ticket therefore go to the till four times for a family buying four tickets at once, rather than once. Your average basket size accordingly decides much of your real cost per ticket — the calculator on the pricing page shows that effect.

What we do not claim

We are not the cheapest in every scenario, and the comparison pages say so: WeTicket charges less per ticket than we do. The argument is the shape of the price, not the lowest price — our amount stays the same on a €5 ticket and on a €50 one. Nor do we add features up into a score in our favour: where a competitor has something we do not, it sits in the same table.
