FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know to get started.

Yes. Creating an account, setting up your organisation, publishing events and branding your ticket shop costs nothing, and free events stay free — even with hundreds of sign-ups. Only when you sell paid tickets do you pay one flat amount per ticket sold, whatever the ticket price. On top of that you pay your own Stripe or Mollie account’s transaction fees, directly to them. There is no subscription and there are no setup costs.
Through your own Stripe or Mollie account: Bancontact and Payconiq, credit cards such as Visa and Mastercard, iDEAL and bank transfer. Bancontact matters more than it looks for a Belgian audience — a ticket shop offering cards only loses buyers who simply want to pay from their banking app. Your visitors’ money lands in your account, not ours: we do not sit between you and your revenue.
Yes. The scanner is a Progressive Web App you open on an ordinary smartphone or tablet. You sign in once, download the guest list to the device, and then keep scanning without internet — usable in a parish hall with thick walls, on a field with no coverage, or when a thousand visitors saturate the network at once. As soon as you are back online, one tap syncs the offline scans.
Yes, and it is not a trial: a free event costs nothing, however many sign-ups it takes. So you can also use the platform for a general assembly, an open day, or a free party where you only want to know how many people are coming. You get the same QR-coded tickets, the same door scanner and the same attendee lists as for a paid event.
Payments arrive in your own Stripe or Mollie account, so you are paid out on that provider’s schedule, not ours. We never hold your revenue and do not pass it on ourselves, so there is no extra waiting time from us. The concrete payout rhythm can be checked and configured in your own Stripe or Mollie dashboard.
Yes. A data processing agreement is published on the site, listing the sub-processors and the security measures — exactly the document a school or municipal department asks for. Buyers can request their data or have it deleted, and retention periods expire automatically. The database and uploads sit in the EU; sub-processors outside the EEA work under standard contractual clauses.
You get your own ticket shop on your own subdomain, carrying your logo and colours. That is the link you put in your newsletter, your WhatsApp groups and on your poster. The ticket page, the confirmation e-mail and the PDF ticket follow the language your visitor picks — Dutch, French or English — and every ticket carries a unique QR code for check-in at the door.
We charge one flat €0.49 per ticket sold: on a €50 ticket it is the same amount as on a €5 one, because no percentage of the ticket price is involved. There are no per-channel fees and no separate charge for seating plans. We are not the cheapest in every scenario — WeTicket charges less per ticket — but the shape of our price does not change with your ticket price. Our comparison pages show their rates with the date we read them off their own page.
